The Portal of Croatian Proverbs is the result of a project carried out within the Centre for Research of Cultural Identity and Regional Heritage at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek (https://www.ffos.unios.hr/znanstveni-portal/centri/centar-za-istrazivanje-kulturnog-identiteta-i-regionalne-bastine), with the aim of preserving and ensuring access to Croatian linguistic heritage. The project, led by Assoc Prof Dr Kristina Feldvari, included subject analysis, indexing, and classification of Croatian proverbs from the 12th to the 19th century, as well as contemporary Croatian proverbs, and the creation of a publicly accessible web interface. The project is realised on a non-profit basis through the Centre of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek and is intended exclusively for educational and research purposes.
